Skylight works as a contact and customer relationship management software (CRM), which provides online collaboration between your team, freelancers and clients. To be able to do this, you need to invite your co-workers and employees onto Skylight business collaboration software.

Inviting contacts to your Skylight account


We have a special section in Skylight to invite multiple new or existing contacts for collaboration. To do this, follow the steps as given below:

1. Hover the cursor over Contacts on the main navigation menu to the left of your screen.
2. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on Invite Contacts (1).


On the next page you can invite already existing contacts by clicking on the Pick an existing Contact (1) link, or enter new contact details in the table (2) where each row represents a contact.

When entering contact details make sure to enter the first and last name of the contact in respective columns. You can also add a personalized message and select the most appropriate User Permission Group.

You can also add an individual message for each contact you are inviting


At the end of each row press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard to create a new row. It’s important to make sure to delete the unwanted rows before saving or the process will fail and you might have to start all over again.


After you have entered or selected the contacts you wish to invite, click the Invite(1) button to send out invitations.

Skylight will add a new contact for each row from the table and invite them. The resulting email will contain all the information for your team to follow.

When your invited users log in to Skylight for the first time, you will get a notification from Skylight software that your invitation has been activated and the user has logged into your Skylight online collaboration software.
